A Huge December of Racing Ahead at The Entertainment Grounds

New Partnerships, Feature Races, Community Events and Summer Celebrations Announced

December is just around the corner at The Entertainment Grounds, and with the track in excellent condition and summer racing upon us, the Club is gearing up for one of its biggest months of the year.

The calendar begins on 18 December with the return of our long-term charity partner, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service – Northern NSW, a race day that continues to celebrate and support vital emergency services across the region.

The spotlight then turns to our feature program on Sunday, 28 December 2025, showcasing a strong Group and Listed race card in partnership with our long-standing supporter, Gosford RSL Club, and welcoming a new major partner, Elite Sand & Soil.

The Entertainment Grounds is pleased to announce a significant three-year partnership with Elite Sand & Soil, who will assume naming rights to the $200,000 Listed Gosford Guineas as part of the Belle of the Turf Race Day Carnival. As part of the Elite Group Sydney network, Elite Sand & Soil delivers certified raw materials, landscape products and industry-leading delivery services throughout New South Wales, with capability extending into Queensland and Victoria. Backed by an extensive fleet of company-owned assets, Elite-inducted subcontractors, BFM-accredited drivers and Allotrac-integrated operations, the company ensures safe, compliant and seamless delivery for projects of all scales. With a long history of work across NSW racecourses, this partnership is a natural alignment for the next three years.

Chief Executive Officer Daniel Lacey said, “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of Gosford RSL, whose long-standing commitment to our community and to racing remains invaluable. I am also extremely pleased to welcome Elite Sand & Soil as a new partner, further strengthening our relationships across the region. Not only can patrons enjoy black-tie racing on the Central Coast, but this year we are excited to introduce our exclusive new White Claw Trackside Party, along with a live performance by Natalie Sax after the last.”

Alongside the new partnership, The Entertainment Grounds extends its heartfelt thanks to Gosford RSL, who for more than seven years has proudly sponsored the $300,000 Belle of the Turf, helping to elevate this standout summer race. Their commitment reflects genuine dedication to local engagement and community support. As an added benefit, Gosford RSL members receive free entry to The Entertainment Grounds for the entire month of December, making it easier than ever to enjoy the build-up to Belle of the Turf Day.

Another highlight on the program is the Class 4 Cusick, run in honour of the late Malcolm Cusick, an influential leader who shaped the Gosford Race Club for decades. Malcolm served on the Board from 1950 and was Chairman for 35 years from 1970. The Malcolm Cusick Stakes stands as a fitting tribute to his legacy and service.

Belle of the Turf Day will also feature a range of new and returning on-course experiences, including the White Claw Trackside Party, permanent jewellery by Aligned Gemini Co, roaming entertainment, the Summer Sips cocktail bar and more. Lacey added, “With hospitality packages already selling fast for our Belle of the Turf Race Day on 28 December 2025, I encourage everyone to book online today to avoid missing out.”

The year then concludes with the highly anticipated NYE Family Race Day, proudly supported by Central Coast Council, where all Central Coast residents receive free entry. Families can enjoy a petting zoo, rock climbing, kids’ entertainment and roaming performers before heading to cheer on the Central Coast Mariners in their 7:00 pm match.
