Competitive barbecue is coming to the Central Coast, with the Australian BBQ Alliance joining BREW-B-Q at The Entertainment Grounds in Gosford on Saturday, 7 November 2026.
Running from 12:00pm to 9:00pm, BREW-B-Q will bring together barbecue, bands and boutique beer for a full day of food, live entertainment and competition. The festival will feature some of Australia’s best barbecue pitmasters, along with market stalls, merchandise, competitions, a bucking bronco and plenty more.
Australian BBQ Alliance Cook-Off
A major attraction at this year’s BREW-B-Q will be the Australian BBQ Alliance-sanctioned competition, giving barbecue teams an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of judges and festivalgoers.
Teams will compete across four categories:
- Chicken
- Pork ribs
- Pork
- Brisket
Each entry will be assessed on its presentation, tenderness and flavour.
Team entry costs $300 including GST and includes a designated competition space. Teams must complete the registration form and purchase a team entry ticket to be considered for the competition.
Barbecue enthusiasts can also experience the competition from the judging table. Judges will taste and assess entries across all four categories, with places available for $50 including GST. Judging positions are limited.

BBQ, Bands and Beer in Gosford
Alongside the barbecue competition, BREW-B-Q will feature live performances from Furnace and the Fundamentals, Hot Potato Band, Born Jovi Tribute Band and Lemon Joe.
Festivalgoers can also enjoy boutique beer, food vendors, market stalls and entertainment throughout the day, making BREW-B-Q one of the Central Coast’s biggest food and music events of the year.
BREW-B-Q will be held at The Entertainment Grounds, 4 Racecourse Road, West Gosford, on Saturday, 7 November 2026.
General admission, youth and child tickets are available, with children aged under 11 admitted free. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $60 if the event has not sold out beforehand.
