Owners may now attend Barrier Trials at Gosford to view their horse/s trial. The following guidelines must be adhered to.

The Entertainment Grounds has taken numerous measures to ensure the safety of members, owners, guests & staff. Below are the main guidelines we are following based on recommendations by the Commonwealth and NSW Government bodies and Racing NSW.


  • Entry via the main entrance gates (on Racecourse Rd) ONLY
  • All staff, guests & industry personnel will be temperature checked upon entry. Anyone who presents with a temperature of 37.5 degrees celsius and above will be refused entry
  • All guests entering the racecourse must submit their personal details (name and contact number) – One owner (or syndicate manager) may sign in on behalf of their owners group 
  • Parking is available directly opposite the main entrance or approx. 200m up Racecourse Rd in the new commuter car park.
  • Owners may enter the racecourse 30 minutes prior to their horses trial time. Subject to capacity limitations, owners may be asked to vacate the racecourse 30 minutes after the trial has concluded


  • The Lakeview & Panorama Grandstands will be available to watch the trials. Please observe a distance of two vacant sets between patrons
  • No food or beverage available


  • Hand Sanitiser stations have been set up throughout the venue, we strongly advise you sanitise your hands regularly
  • Tables, chairs & surfaces will be regularly sanitised
  • Strictly no co-mingling, guests must remain seated at all times, except for moving with intent – Moving with intent includes using the amenities or entering / exiting the venue.
  • Owners will NOT have access to the Parade Ring or communicate with their jockey
  • Owners will NOT have access to the race day stalls
