Welcome to the May edition of our monthly newsletter from The Entertainment Grounds. We are pleased to bring you all of the news from The EG from upcoming race days, events, trainers, functions and events.

April was a busy month at The Entertainment Grounds with our annual ANZAC Day Race Day presented by HIT 101.3 Sea FM, the April Comedy Night and the Wedding Fair as well as a number of conferences and social events.

The Entertainment Grounds hosted the annual ANZAC Day Race Day presented by HIT 101.3 Sea FM on Wednesday 25th April. Although the Coast had some rain early on in the day, this didn’t seem to affect final numbers with just over 3,000 racegoers and socialites through the gates. There was a particularly large number of families and children attending this year, enjoying live music, kids bungee run, kindifarm and more! Two-up was played in the Courtyard from 1pm and guests danced into the late afternoon in the HIT 101.3 Sea FM VIP Marquee. Patrons were also spoilt for choice with a range of food trucks and a craft beer van on site.

The April comedy night featured well-known comedians Andrew Barnett, Emma Zammit and Tommy Dean. Over 160 guests booked tickets and platters for the night, which is close to the biggest comedy event to date. The next comedy night will be held on Saturday 2nd June, 2018 featuring Julia Wilson, Cameron James and Darren Sanders. For more information or to book CLICK HERE

On sunday 29th April, The Entertainment Grounds hosted the annual Wedding Fair. The event was run alongside the Gosford City Farmers Markets this year which saw a number of walk-ins coming to check out what was happening along with around 360 guests registering for the event. Stall holders ranged from photographers and stylists to jewellery makers and bridal fashion.

Next up on the racing calendar is the Terrigal Wamberal Rugby League Football Race Day on Saturday 26th May. For more information or to book one of our delicious hospitality packages CLICK HERE
